About Us

Maranatha means "Our Lord Will Come!" We like to say it like this - "Jesus is coming soon!" That's why we are doing our part as a community of believers to reach out to the people of Luling and surrounding areas with the truth of God's Word.

Maranatha Christian Fellowship is a Spirit-filled, non-denominational church committed to ministering to the needs of the people within our community. Jesus said in Matthew 28:19, 20 (Msg.), "Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life." We simply believe that in order to change the world for the best, we must change the hearts of the people.

Here at Maranatha, we pray for people to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We believe in teaching God's principles to live by, developing believers to Christ-like maturity, and equipping them for their ministry in the church and in the world.

We believe that God has raised this church up for such a time as this. We are a church that is vibrant and relevant to our community. Our vision statement is "Changing Lives, Changing Our World." Lives are being transformed here at Maranatha by the power of the Holy Spirit.
